About the project
Energy Resources built Mongolia's first coal processing plant at the Ukhaa Khudag complex and is now the country's leading exporter of processed rather than raw coal. The plant runs three modules, each able to wash and process 5 million tonnes of coal a year; they came online in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Since operations began in 2011, the plant has produced around 80 million tonnes of value-added product.

Water supply
Since 2013 we have supplied Schneider Electric, Voith, Emerson and Pentair equipment and spare parts for the plant's water supply system, keeping it running reliably.
Power plant
The 18 MW power plant at Ukhaa Khudag was built in 2011 entirely by Mongolian engineers and technicians. We supply it with Schneider Electric, ABB, Allen-Bradley and A+B spare parts and continue to work with the plant today.
